Hey Kat1021, I got the same status. I think it may be because our applications are still being compared to others with similar scores. I believe you and I are in the same boat.

Congratulations and thank you for your service!
congrats, refreshing to see this type of preference given to a vet. definitely flys in the face of conventional tls wisdom.

Went to undergrad here if there are any questions about the school in general or the town.

Same with me guys- I'm hoping it's not a terrible thing...
I'm hoping its not a bad thing either. I wondered if it meant we were closer to the waitlist? I've been under comparative since September. I asked the admissions office what "hold" means and got a non answer.

That's crazy! I only started comparative review today and an hour later was on a hold. I have a 3.9 gpa with a really good resume/experience/positions but a low lsat which i think is the issue. Don't know why they wouldn't tell you what a Hold means, though?

So....I couldn't help myself and called. Apparently "hold" does not mean anything, it was just a new term they decided to use and had yet to update the website. However, since several people called asking about it, they decided to change it back to "comparative review".

I also got a 154 and noticed that they took the "hold" off not too long after they put it on there.

Just got a voicemail from admissions that I was accepted. Submitted my application last week. They said in the message that I should've received an acceptance email but I never did. Did anyone get a phone call before an e-mail and does the e-mail contain scholarship info? Thanks!

Mine was in spam folder too. It had scholarship offer but no real information about how to accept it, etc.

I've been waiting since October to get the email on how to accept. I asked the dean during the chat session and on the phone, and they never really did answer me. My acceptance email had stuff about the scholarship, but still no talk of actually HOW to accept it.

Second rec letter came in today(hope it was worth the wait) and I submitted. Sub-par stats (161, 3.45) but I'm UF undergrad so at least I should get an answer soon.

I wouldn't worry too much. I got accepted w 50% scholarship and my stats were only slightly better than yours. it took them about two weeks to give me an answer, I'm a UF undergrad too

Does UF have a page to check the application status? I received the ID number when I did the residency thing but no information about checking the status of my application...
