Thanks, that's actually really helpful to know!ScottRiqui wrote:I know waiting sucks, but I'd put it out of your mind to the extent that you're able to - I was admitted with the first wave of ED admits two years ago, and we didn't hear anything until Thanksgiving.
Maybe the admissions folks have sped up their game, but I'd suspect you have a minimum of two more weeks to wait.
Well, I just went back through the c/o 2018 thread, and their earliest reported admission was November 3rd, so I guess the results did go out a little bit sooner than with c/o 2017. Also, c/o 2017 actually had an admission on November 12th, which was earlier than I remembered, so I guess it could start happening any time now.meowatme123 wrote:Thanks, that's actually really helpful to know!ScottRiqui wrote:I know waiting sucks, but I'd put it out of your mind to the extent that you're able to - I was admitted with the first wave of ED admits two years ago, and we didn't hear anything until Thanksgiving.

I heard this great, great advice from a 2L not too long ago. He told me to just get used to waiting. You'll be waiting a lot for things like grades, OCIs, etc. So just try not to stress, and do the best you can (which I assume you already have cause you've sent in the app), and take it easy. It's a lot easier said than done, and you may be like me and just not really get it until you actually go through it, but trust me when I say it's all good!meowatme123 wrote:UT Adcomm is definitely taking their time this year!
And remember that there are far worse aspects of law school than the waiting.rnoodles22 wrote:I heard this great, great advice from a 2L not too long ago. He told me to just get used to waiting. ED is still binding, but now if you do it, you forfeit the opportunity to be considered for other scholarships.cannibal ox wrote:Is ED still binding, and does it come with the $10k housing stipend? Curious if it's the same system even after Dean Ingram left.
Now there's a charge.
