The campus itself is removed from the undergraduate campus, and its location is very close to Judiciary Square. I would consider the campus to be very inclusive, easy to access, and most of the buildings are well-kept and modern. They just added a gym in their student center not long ago, as well as housing. I am a fan, based upon my visit.

JK reading the bios for the current PILS and wow I would never get it, esp since they pick 8!!

I was reading all about the awesomeness of PILS and considering what I would write, too, until I got to the part about 8. (8??!!) Not a concern for me

Does everyone get interviewed either by alumni or in a group? How do they accommodate Int'l applicants who cannot necessarily travel?

They don't always interview.
Not sure what to tell you about international applicants, but you can always ask if/when you get invited to interview.
