Thank you! Judiciary Square is a plusfips tedora wrote:The campus itself is removed from the undergraduate campus, and its location is very close to Judiciary Square. I would consider the campus to be very inclusive, easy to access, and most of the buildings are well-kept and modern. They just added a gym in their student center not long ago, as well as housing. I am a fan, based upon my visit.dreamerchic19 wrote:seriously considering Georgetown just based off Washington DC alone, wondering how the campus looks...

I was reading all about the awesomeness of PILS and considering what I would write, too, until I got to the part about 8. (8??!!) Not a concern for meslippin_jimmy wrote:JK reading the bios for the current PILS and wow I would never get it, esp since they pick 8!!slippin_jimmy wrote:Anyone thinking of applying for PILS (Public Interest Law Scholars)?
It requires an extra public service letter of rec as well as a short essay. Though, it asked you how to specifically label said LOR for submission, and says it should bear your LSAC ID on each page. Does this mean I would need a recommender to RESUBMIT their letter with the appropriate formatting...? Ugh.PILS applicants should apply for PILS at the same time that they are applying for admission into the J.D. Program, but should apply prior to February 15 for best consideration. Because the Selection Committee endeavors to make its final decisions by late March, and considers only admitted applicants, the applications of students admitted after the February 15 deadline may not be considered.

Does everyone get interviewed either by alumni or in a group? How do they accommodate Int'l applicants who cannot necessarily travel?

Not sure what to tell you about international applicants, but you can always ask if/when you get invited to interview.
Best of luck everyone!
