You just need to email one of the people in admissions--usually someone who emailed or called you about admission. Can't remember the name of the person who admitted me though..

Ooh, thanks. I actually just talked to someone today who said he forwarded my email to admissions and that someone will call me back to talk about it. I really really hope they can increase it because it's my #1 choice, just not sure if I can afford it yet!
Let us know what happens! All my communication was through email, so it's interesting they want to give you a call -- I would have preferred that. Best of luck!

So finally heard back from admissions yesterday, it was a no go on the increased scholarship :? I deposited right before they called but might have to withdraw anyway bc U of A gave a full ride and I can't justify ASU now as an out of stater. Still sad though, the new school looks like it will be beautiful
Aw bummer! UA is a nice school though im finishing up undergrad there. I also was declined a scholly raise but considering they gave me a generous scholly I was just being greedy lol. No one else will be your advocate so my view was why not be my own best advocate?? Lol. Best of luck at Rogers. I hear the environment is great.
I was also denied but they did it so graciously, I almost forgot how much I needed the help to seriously keep considering ASU. I was also called - they must deliver the bad news via phone. I am going to try again with new competitive offers I've received because otherwise I'm afraid I just can't make it work. Also being out-of-state, I would want to spend my summers working where I ultimately would want to live, so I'd never establish residency or qualify for many of the local scholarships they reference as being available. I also might melt if I stayed over the summer...

Hi everyone,

I am a 2L at ASU. I haven't used TLS before, but I wanted to get in touch with potential members of the 2018 JD class.

First, if you decide to attend ASU Law and you are interested in purchasing textbooks to own, I will sell you my 1L year books very cheap. The law professors use the same books almost every year (occasionally requesting that you purchase the newest addition). Contact me by email at dpresent@asu.edu to discuss which professors you have, and I will gladly give you a deal on the books.

Second, if you are deciding whether to live in Phoenix, I highly recommend the Skysong Apartments. I lived there my 1L and they were excellent. I can get anyone $200 off their first month rent if they use my name when they sign a lease. Again, email me for details.

Last, if you have any questions about my experience as a 1L at ASU, feel free to ask in an email.

Thank you.

Best Regards,

David J.

I know it's probably a little late to post this in the thread but I wanted to see who was able to successfully get off the ASU waitlist and about how close to school starting you found out either way! Thanks!
