Had not really considered Pepperdine and was all set for A.S.U. this fall until they bumped my scholarship. Does anyone know about how crazy strict the rules are in graduate housing or if there are any affordable off campus options nearby?

Did everyone get the latest scholarship bump of the Dean's Merit yesterday?

They bumped me yesterday too, tripling my original offer, but the housing situation is one of the major reasons I withdrew. The on campus housing is right next to the law building - Completely dry and with strict visitation rules (no overnight guests, visitation hours for guests of the opposite sex, etc.). As for off campus, they have an office that can help you find a basement or nearby guest house to live in. It's pretty much either that or commuting from the valley.

Gosh I didn't realize that. Thanks for letting us know. I visited the campus way back and it seemed chill, everyone was friendly, but looks like I'll not be attending law school at all.

Nothing here. I emailed Friday and they replied that they would be "looking at wait listed candidates and admit on a rolling basis starting this week".
