how long from when you went under review did it take them to reach a decision?

I don't know what the deal is with students that applied ED. Status checker says you will have a decision in 6-8 wks, and I'm about to begin week 10...

I think I submitted my app Sunday, went complete Monday, then saw I was admitted via the status checker late yesterday. I was surprised at the turnaround time.

Mine went under review Friday and status has yet to change. Bad sign?

Mine's been under review for a while...doesn't seem like they've made any ED decisions.

Congrats to the people finally hearing back on their ED apps! Seems like it's about time.

Question for those who have been admitted: I found out yesterday that I am in via status tracker but no email/call/letter or anything yet. Do they send an email confirming or should I be waiting for a hard copy letter?

They will send you a hard copy. I think mine came about 5-7 days later. Then I received a call from someone in admissions a couple days after that. No email though.

It sounds like people have been hearing back from them about RD applications for at least a few weeks. Seems like their turnaround is pretty fast.

Andrew Pinson, a UGA Law alumnus, clerked for SCOTUS AJ Thomas last year and is now headed to Jones Day with a $300,000 hiring bonus. Pretty cool!

I got a call the week after status checker, but my hard copy letter still hasn't come yet. Says it was mailed 10/30.

Status checker says I got a deans welcome letter mailed to me sometime last week (different than acceptance letter). Haven't gotten it yet. It's probably nothing but i'm hoping something will be sent soon regarding scholarship offers.

Starting to get nervous that I still haven't heard anything after reading everyone who heard back within a few days. It's been two weeks now since I went complete. Really hoping to hear something soon!

When I was admitted it took a long time. Sometimes they just want to see where their numbers will be. Good luck!

I got my "Dean's Welcome Letter" that the status checker mentioned today - no mention of scholarship info.

Someone from the admissions office called me yesterday to say congratulations and answer any questions I had. I asked when scholarship decisions will be made and she said they'll be making decisions as to who will be receiving an in-state tuition adjustment (for people coming in from out of state like me) later this month, and then that merit-based scholarship decisions will be made in February. She also mentioned that the average student graduates with around 60K in debt (including cost of living), which seems super low to me.

What were your numbers and how long did it take once you were under review? Been under review since 10/22

What is the LSAC Final Undergraduate Transcript? I called the admissions office a couple of weeks ago and the person I spoke with couldn't answer my question.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
