With regards to fee waivers, I received an email saying I'd got one (unsolicited) on 9/25.

On an unrelated note, what are people's thoughts on the scholarship portion of the application? It says on their website that it's not required to submit the need access to be considered for scholarships, but I wouldn't want to potentially receive less because I didn't... My parents aren't giving me any help but, with their income, need access is virtually pointless for me.

Any help is appreciated!

so apparently we're WAY ahead of schedule as compared to last year, when the first RD interview invites went out on December 2. I wonder if this means there will be November decisions this year!

I also got an interview invite We are about 2 months ahead of last year's admissions cycle. Not sure if this means they are trying to do more interviews, or are just ahead of schedule.

Do we have any idea how many of their applicants they have historically interviewed? I'm going to optimistically hope they've just decided to put us all out of our misery earlier.

Went to UR1 at something like between 4 and 7 in the afternoon/evening. That seems like a weird time to click over.

It looks like in the 'What to Expect' thread that UR2 -> interview is normal, I think?
