I don't know if the adcomms can open the attachments as word docs? (When you preview the app, it all comes up as a PDF.)

What if, in Word 2013, you save the docs as PDFs? Does that retain the formatting from Word?
LSAC doesn't take PDFs :(

You can't upload PDF's to submit, sadly. :(

Have you checked the setting of size in page setup?
A4 which is the default setting in many countries except for US, can hold more words in one page than Letter.
I know this problem is pretty common among international students, but not sure if it applies to Americans as well.

This is probably a stupid question but is this the "Why Penn" essay?

These are the core strengths that make Penn Law the best place to receive a rigorous and engaging legal
education: genuine integration with associated disciplines; transformative, forward-looking faculty
scholarship; highly-regarded experiential learning through urban clinics and our pro bono pledge; innovative,
hands-on global engagement; and a manifest commitment to professional development and collegiality.
These qualities define Penn Law. What defines you? How do your goals and values match Penn Law’s core
strengths?

I got an unsolicited fee waiver from UPenn. I was on the fence about applying but hey, why not. UCHI yesterday, UPenn today.
