Michigan would be pretty hard to turn down based on those pictures if they offer the right numbers $$.

the letter in my packet talked extensively about the Native American group on campus. That also is something of a personal touch that I really appreciated.

Question: For those of you receiving the packages, do you already have LSAT scores? I wanna feel special :( I'm trying to figure out if that's the key to receiving fee waivers and look books.

Anyone doing two of them?
if it says one page I would not recommend doing 2 lol
It says you can do ONE or TWO optional essays of no more than 1 page each.
Oh yeah I forgot they are weird. I guess I'd do two if you're doing a diversity statement or something like that
Don't worry about it too much guys, I had a 3~ page DS that I sent to multiple schools that I just ticked off two of the optional essay boxes for and admissions clearly didn't care as I got in with $$.

Granted, it might be a bit different if your numbers are more borderline, but admissions seems overall pretty chill here.

I don't have a score and still received one.

ETA but I requested one through their website. Also came with a note. I posted early in either this thread or the fee waiver thread that when you request a book they ask for your LSAC # but I am not sure how many people did this.

And here I was hoping it wasn't that they didn't like, but rather I just didn't have a score. There goes that assumption. But I will go request some materials from the site, maybe they'll change their mind on the fee waiver after the LSAT

Just finished my first week of 1L here. I don't feel qualified to answer in the Ask a Mich thread just yet, but if anyone has any Qs that I can be helpful with, I'm happy to answer any PMs. Mich is represented poorly on TLS relative to its size, which is weird.

A little confused about the instructions on the LoR. Says it must be accompanied by a signed declaration of the applicant's intent regarding access to the letter. But in the Forms section for LOR Form/Waiver, it says LORs sent thru LSAC's Letter of Recommendation Service do not need this form. I sent my LORs thru LSAC. So does that mean that I do not have to worry about that signed declaration thing of my intent?

I may be confused here, but when you requested the letter, you waived your right to view the letter, correct? Maybe that's what it's referring to? And thus sending it through LSAC you've already got that declaration?

Anyways, I submitted through LSAC, and did not have any such documents.

Yes that's what I'm talking about. And I did waive my rights when I asked for the letters. So I guess I'm good to go?

Letters of recommendation go out with the CAS report right? I got an email from Dean Zearfoss and I want to make sure I attached my letters properly.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
