so for off campus interviews we wait for them to assign one to us right?
i think xylo gave me a mini heart attack because i thought we were supposed to request one separately.

PSA encouraging those considering ED to go for it. I was a 170, approx. median GPA candidate. If you have median or better numbers and are considering ED, I think you should give it a shot. This place is great even if you have to pay hella money for it. It's an unbelievable privilege to be here when you don't. End message from a 1L 3 weeks into LS. PM with questions.

They have a list of questions that they interview from. My interviewer had it last year and thought it was funny that they thought she was incapable of evaluating me herself.xylocarp wrote:had my skype interview and went complete! if anyone wants to know the questions the asked, PM me. it was a lot more structured than the UVA interview.

yeah, I saw the list in the interviewing thread, but I wasn't sure if it was going to be used bc it was Skype with an adcom as opposed to the alumni interview. a lot of them were from the list, but a few deviated a bit.Attax wrote:They have a list of questions that they interview from. How long did it take for the skype interview? This is a video call right? I'll be having mine later.

Yep it is a video call - takes about 15-20 mins. Typical questions (why, what, where, who, when)!mynameis08 wrote:xylocarp wrote:had my skype interview and went complete! if anyone wants to know the questions the asked, PM me. it was a lot more structured than the UVA interview.

Thanks I'm a bit nervous now. Do you know if it would have an impact if I interview first before submitting an app? I haven't submitted mine

Re: Northwestern Law c/o 2018 Applicants
Hey everyone first post in this thread. I have my off-campus interview this week and was wondering if suit/tie was neccessary. I was hoping to get away with a dress shirt and sport coat. Anyone think this is a bad idea?

Depends on location. If it's in a coffee shop, then what you suggested sounds fine. If it's in a lawyer's office or a formal setting like a career services area at your school, I think a suit and tie should be considered necessary.
In business school, we were always told it's no big deal to over dress, but it can be a major faux pas to under dress. If you have any question in your mind, go with the suit and tie (especially since Northwestern is so focused on professionalism).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
