Hmm. Maybe I can make that GPA by second semester or something. Thanks for the insight!james.bungles wrote:Almost entirely numbers based and they seem to be handed out pretty often. Checking in.
If scores are released around 4 pm tomorrow, I will be an hour into a 9-hour kitchen shift. I get cell alerts for email. Check it or try to hold out until after work?

I'll be in a similar situation. I think I will try not to check since I don't know how I could focus on work after that, but I don't know if I have enough self-control to not look at it.DrSpaceman wrote:Checking in.

For some reason I really don't want to read the email on my cell phone, and I don't have access to my work desktop this week, so I feel like I'll end up trapped into waiting until I get home too. It will be a nerve-wracking day! At least I only have to wait until 6. Sorry guys, that really sucks.DebtAverse wrote:I'll be in a similar situation. When I was in a similar situation, I would check on my break - that way I wouldn't have to wait 'til I was off, and would have a few minutes to mentally deal with whatever the result was, good or bad. I personally thought it helped when it was bad news, because I couldn't just sit around and mope afterwards. If you don't have a break opportunity though, I would say wait.DebtAverse wrote:I'll be in a similar situation. I'll be at work too (Where I am right now)! I am going to check it though.. I'll just have to shut the door and cry in my office. If it is somehow a good score, I'll run and tell the world! Everyone at work knows I took the LSAT, and they will know if it didn't come in good. Last week I was quiet, and they were like, " Oh no! Your scores came in and they weren't good???" lol I can't hide!

Yeah, I don't want to read it on my cell phone either. Maybe it just feels too casual?everything_bagel wrote:For some reason I really don't want to read the email on my cell phone, and I don't have access to my work desktop this week, so I feel like I'll end up trapped into waiting until I get home too. Is anyone not getting any emails from schools? I keep hearing that other people who took the June test have been getting emails from schools already, so it seems odd that I haven't seen anything. I did just agree to the candidate referral service a few days ago though, so maybe that's why?

I also registered for CRS a few days ago and I haven't received any emails from schools either.

Yeah that would be the reason - don't worry about it!Aholymost wrote:I also registered for CRS a few days ago and I haven't received any emails from schools either.DebtAverse wrote:Is anyone not getting any emails from schools? Reminder to everyone else - if you want fee waivers from schools (and who doesn't), you should sign up for CRS on the LSAC website around now. Schools usually start sending out waivers right after June scores come out, which

Thanks. I have a LSAC fee waiver and signed up for CRS a couple months ago. I didn't know about the LSAC fee waiver until after I took my first test in Feb. My boss paid for it then, but I am so glad I have it now.

Hi all, TLS newbie checking in. Sat for the LSAT (first try) in Korea last Sunday and am anxiously awaiting the results. Not so keen on an undisclosed test (hate the idea, actually), but had no choice. Any others find that their first try passed in a blur? So many on the forum here seem to recall an amazing amount of information; aside from the questions that gave me trouble (e.g. 3rd LG, comparative passage in RC, a handful of LRs), the rest are one big fuzzy memory...
Anyways, looking forward to going through the cycle together.^^
Also, congrats to all who sat for the NA test and received their results!

I took February, but basically all I remember from my LSAT is some question about a girl who had a bunch of puppies and kittens. I thought it was cute I guess.iVi wrote:Hi all, TLS newbie checking in. Sat for the LSAT (first try) in Korea last Sunday and am anxiously awaiting the results. Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Hi guys, I've been stalking this website for a year while studying for the LSAT and after Powerscore, Velocity, and a tutor (I highly recommend him if anyone is looking), I'm finally applying for 2018! I have a 172 and a 3.7 from a top 20 institution, and I'm thinking about applying to Columbia ED. I have an extremely rough personal statement written, I've already asked my profs for recommendations, and I'm excited to obsess about apps with all of you!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
