Law school stuff seems to take forever to get to me and I don't want WL action to happen before I can get my form in.

I don’t have immediate access to my regular mail (currently out of the country) so I found out that I was waitlisted after checking the online status and emailing them. Since I didn’t have the copy of the letter, I didn’t know what I had to do to stay on the waitlist, so I just wrote up a short email asking them to retain my place and they were fine with it. Hopefully this helps some of you who might also have issues with receiving regular mails!

Do you think Stanford’s gonna send out rejection letters by regular mail again? I still don’t understand why they didn’t email the rejection and waitlist letters like every other school…

Take it for what it's worth, but there are a couple of people in the SLS c/o 2017 Facebook group who were added in the last week. Not to be that creepy person who's constantly monitoring the Facebook group...

ETA: There's way more action in the Facebook group than in the c/o 2017 thread here, for whatever reason.

I mean there's a nonzero chance so if all it takes is a couple of paragraphs, might as well write it. I actually do have a thing or 2 that have changed since I submitted my app back in 2013.

I spoke with SLS admissions yesterday and they told me they don't even know yet if they are going to take anyone from the waitlist since they are in the middle of processing the committal forms. They said movement could start by the end of May but will most likely be in June.

Just email it as an attachment to the admissions office. You'll get a confirmation email within 48hrs.
