I haven't gotten a release email and I am in the 2nd quartile. My guess is they are releasing non-CA residents on the presumption that it is a lot harder for a non-resident to up and move to the area with only days remaining

Non-CA resident here, which supports your theory. Also, did not send LOCI.

I looked at their academic calendar to get a sense of the time frame. Orientation is Thursday/Friday so I would assume that a large majority of us will be released on Friday afternoon. They also tweeted that they have a class of 278 so it looks like they are pretty set

I've started re-lsat-studying, but you never know! Maybe stanford will get an itch to accept a few more berkeley people in the next week

My favorite part of the email: "If you will not matriculate at a law school this year I invite you to reapply. Our new application will become available online through Law Services on September 1."

What balls, what audacity, to ask me to re-apply in a WEEK after keeping me guessing and waiting since October 2013 and on a waitlist since March 2014.

NEVER. AGAIN. EVER.
