No movement here.
Got a minor heart attack upon receiving Northeastern's "Good Luck on the LSAT" email in a secondary GMail tab, though.

Yikes: turns out there was a glitch with my GMAT reporting (which is now fixed). Officially complete 2/7 (though all material was in late December/early January).

Nothing for me. Mine has been the same since 1/30. However, I did email admissions. They said that I would "probably" receive a decision this week.deuceindc wrote:Got a Current Status Date update this morning - anyone else see a jump?

In case y'all missed it, there was a tweet/tumblr from Johann this afternoon describing the Hold vs WL situation.
Specifically, he addresses AJD WL:
Regardless, here's hoping we all hear back affirmatively in the near future.
Specifically, he addresses AJD WL:
This is all in line with what we've seen discussed on this thread previously, minus the "small number of late comers".-AJD Waitlist
We have completed review of virtually all applications (there are a small number of late comers that will be reviewed shortly). Therefore, we felt it was best to use the term “waitlist” over “hold”. Between now and the deposit deadline, we expect a small bit of activity (1 or 2) from the AJD waitlist. The week after the AJD deposit deadline there may be substantially more activity (up to 5). From that point until the first day of class, we are looking at perhaps another 2-3 admits. Why the small numbers? It’s a small program. If three people accept, that may mean 10% of the class.
Regardless, here's hoping we all hear back affirmatively in the near future.

"Elrond appointed the Fellowship of the Ring as nine walkers, numerically set against Sauron's nine Nazgûl. The relatively small number reflected the realization by Elrond and the other council members that the quest of Mount Doom would not rely upon strength of arms, but on stealth and good fortune."deuceindc wrote:In case y'all missed it, there was a tweet/tumblr from Johann this afternoon describing the Hold vs WL situation.

Here's to the good fortune of the small number. (And of course to the original 60% as well)

Re: Northwestern AJD c/o 2016 Applicants
Looks like today might be the day, y'all:
that'd be ~5 people if last year's app numbers (168) are close to this year's.all but 3% of the AJD app pool will have a decision on their application by close today.

DLA. It's happening.
Still "no decision" in the delivery system though.

WL'ed. Luckily, riding this one down to the wire (if necessary) won't be hugely problematic.

Oh. Wow.
In.
Don't know what's happening right now. Kind of worried they sent the admit letter by mistake.

Re: Northwestern AJD c/o 2016 Applicants
The initial seat deposit was March 17, but most if not all of the initial wave of admits had the deadline moved to March 24, so I doubt NU would have made any WL admissions before March 24 (yesterday). If there are going to be significant AJD WL admissions, it would make sense for some to go out this week or next.

Re: Northwestern AJD c/o 2016 Applicants
Yeah, I saw this some mentions of this while lurking the AJD Admits thread. Johann was in DC last week, too, so I'm not really shocked that WL'ers haven't been getting pulled en masse.kcdc1 wrote:The initial seat deposit was March 17, but most if not all of the initial wave of admits had the deadline moved to March 24, so I doubt NU would have made any WL admissions before March 24 (yesterday). For reference, here's Johann's blurb on AJD WL:

Re: Northwestern AJD c/o 2016 Applicants
I agree with the above. Most people got an extension to yesterday. I, for one, took up to the last day deciding.
Anyway, I Withdrew, so here's one more seat for those waiting. Best of luck!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
