Vandy seems to have forgotten my app.

I'm pretty sure they forgot about me too. I went complete in August, and interviewed in September I think. They have sent me a bunch of view books since, but I haven't heard a peep from them. I don't want to pester them, but I'm getting anxious.

Does everyone's status check update after the interview? My last update was on 10/24, and I interviewed on 10/31. I'm a little worried that my interviewer didn't send in his notes.

Not at all! 167/3.7, so basically right around their medians. Yesterday was nervous about so many other decisions being mailed, but now mine has been too!

Just wondering- why did you choose to forgo? It takes very little time, and my impression is that unless you really put your foot in your mouth they only strengthen your application. Mine, as seems to be the case with everyone else here, was pretty low pressure!

They seem to use interviews to gauge interest, and their timeline isn't quick anyway, so for most people the delay won't mean much. If it's a school that's actually high on your list, turning down a chance to interview might not be the best idea.

(Also, it was the most fun part of the application process for me! I know a lot of people who echo that sentiment.)

So my decision was mailed yesterday. I checked my fedex account and there is a 5lb package originating from nashville (specifically from Vanderbilt Law) yesterday.....im gonna say that is a good sign!!

Nope. I knoweth not much of US geography. I know the major states, but the rest is often flyover country lol.

Went complete 9/9, interviewed 10/31. Still no update on my status checker. Congrats to all y'all getting packages! I'll just be over here wringing my hands.

BUHHHHHH I just went down to print something and saw the FedEx guy leaving the building's office and had a heart attack but then he was just delivering some other package, no envelope Guess I'll start hoping for tomorrow...
