Damn, that's snappy!

I'm waiting to apply until I'm off the waitlist. Yeah, I'm a crazy person.

Seems like they might be doing it based on undergrad school, which is different than we've seen from the other schools

Bit the bullet and submitted without the waiver, hopefully it proves to be a worthwhile investment

Not as awkward as your school qualifying you to be totally left out in the cold..

Rubenstein coming through in the clutch. My desire to study for this retake just got a $180,000 fire lit under it.

Woot! That is awesome news. I wasn't thrilled about living in Chicago but that $$$ would be hard to turn down even if I get in to S/H. A guy is allowed to dream right?

What are the criteria for Rubies? Is it mainly LSAT/uGPA? Do they take financial need into account at all?

Cafaro is based on financial need + merit, whereas Rubies are mainly merit (LSAT/GPA).
Floors for gpa/lsat?

It's hard to believe that you guys are already applying. I'd like to wish you all the best of luck. I'm a 1L and I'm loving both Chicago the school and Chicago the city so far. I'd be glad to answer any questions about whatever, to the (probably limited :P ) extent that I can. Just drop me a PM.

I kind of think the Cafaro takes into account your background in general as well. If anyone has specific questions, again, shoot me a message and I'll share my ideas (I'm not on the admissions staff, so they'll obviously be just that, keep in mind).

I'd love to know the GPA/LSAT floors for Rubies as well!

Checking in -- sent in my application on 9/11, the status changed to "under review" today. Is there any chance I'll get a decision before December?
