Nice. Any other takers?

I recently received a PM from an admitted student urging me to visit and talk to current students. So if we do go, we need to find a way to do that.

Personally, I have to work the next two weeks so I would have to go during that last week of classes: April 22-26. Again, that's because the person who PM'd me suggested going before classes end because I guess that makes it easier to talk to the students.

Checking-in, as well. Was also wait listed last Friday. Although, I see this information has already made its way into the spreadsheet... without my doing. Lol at the person who thought I was an AA male. But thanks to whoever did this!

I'm assuming you're referring to an email confirming the receipt of your LOCI? I totally haven't received that yet, and I emailed them on Friday a few hours after getting wait-listed. Agh.

Did anyone else attach a LOCI to your waitlist email? They confirmed that they had received my email but made no mention of adding the LOCI to my file... I'm wondering if I should have waited to send it in separately.

This is what I was referring to. Considering I've only received two emails from HLS up to this point, seeing "Harvard - Wait List Offer" pop up on my phone this morning made me irrationally assume they were offering me a spot off of the wait list.

Currently researching the viability of visiting that weekend, will report back with results.

The visit itself probably won't. If you can talk about what a positive experience you had talking with current students, share some things you learned from them, etc. during a potential JS1 or JS1b, then I think that could only help.

Having not received a response, I'm starting to worry. I just responded to JS's email directly with my WL LOCI... maybe I should have sent it directly to the admissions office.

Man, this is way too thrilling / exciting / disturbing to not obsess about that! It might very well be the last communication from Harvard for some of the WLed people!

I'm still planning to visit Harvard. I don't buy the whole Harvard is Harvard thing so just go blindly if you get in. I have a friend who's a 2L so I'll probably just go up there sometime within the next two weeks and visit her, if she's not totally stressed out with finals that is.

Yeah, I don't care much for that attitude either. I'm still interested in going, but if it's a really bad time to meet current students, then it puts a damper on things.
