Do you mind sharing your numbers? You have been WL'ed at a wide range of schools.

what type of URM? I don't know that much about NYLS and UH, but I think those numbers should be good enough to get accepted as a URM. Also according to mylsn, you shouldve had a good shot at American. With that said, I have to say you should retake, especially if you are an AA.

I am an AA. I honestly applied to quite a few school late if that makes any difference. I was scoring in the 160s during practice tests but froze during the actual exam.
I applied to grad schools as well and might choose to take up an offer and take that time to retake the Lsat and reapply.
But as far as this cycle goes, if it wasn't for the low application numbers I probably would have been rejected from a few of these.

Re: The Waitlist Championships
As an AA you need to retake. Scoring 165 with a 3.5 gives you a shot at Harvard. Not getting in this cycle is probably one of the best things that could happen to you.ArianFosterNation wrote:Dmini7 wrote:what type of URM? I also propose that there be a belt for the person who gets accepted off of the greatest number of waitlists...

This has been disappointing. I was hoping from waitlists from several T14, but I've only got one from Georgetown, one of the schools I was hoping to actually get accepted to. My other responses from the T14 have been outright rejections.

One ding so far, courtesy of my dear alma mater.
NYU, Columbia, Duke, and Chicago yet to come. T-14 WLs...it's like collecting stamps but sadder.
