I haven't seen or heard of anyone getting an acceptance to this program as of yet. I'm still waiting to hear back myself. Hopefully something today? When did you get notified that you were being considered for the program. Mine was in late January.leesk621 wrote:Has anyone recently received acceptance to SU's Access Admission Program?

I didn't get an email like that. I hope it doesn't mean it's bad news! I would really like to find out either way. Are you being considered for this program as well?CommanderKeenet wrote:I just got an email Tuesday that said the ARC (Access Program) decisions should start rolling out this week

I didn't get an email like that either. I was notified on 1/10 that I was being considered for the ARC program but haven't heard anything since then.

It wasn't a mass email, it was a private correspondence with someone in admissions.J.E.M. wrote:I didn't get an email like that. I hope it doesn't mean it's bad news! All of the Pacific NW schools dropped in rankings with the exception of Gonzaga.anticule wrote:82.bobbypin wrote:2014 USNWR ranking: 102

UW from 20 to 28
Lewis and Clark from 58 to 80
U of O from 82 to 94
Seattle from 82 to 102
Gonzaga stayed at 113
Willamette from 129 to no published rank
Yikes.

And as a seattle resident these are the reasons why I did not apply to any law school in the PNW, including UW.bobbypin wrote:All of the Pacific NW schools dropped in rankings with the exception of Gonzaga.anticule wrote:82.bobbypin wrote:2014 USNWR ranking: 102

This is scary business, especially because these drops are probably over 90% because of job prospects.

Re: Seattle University c/o 2016
If you're basing your decision off of these rankings, you're doing it wrong.
If you're considering low T2 (and apparently now T3) schools, you should only be considering the ones in the region where you have connections. If that place is Seattle the ranking won't make one damn bit of difference.

Re: Seattle University c/o 2016
Hey there, I was wondering if any current SU students have any insight or can share their experiences so far in the program? As a soon to be 1L, I'm curious what it's going to be like as a future SU student.
Also, does anyone have information on the laptops? I can't seem to purchase the laptop from their website, not until I get my official email set up. Is this a specific one or just a recommended one? I'm trying to get ahead of what I need to do in preparation for my summer classes.
Thanks!
