Naw, i am not a URM. I have always been bad at standardized tests. It may not be the highest score and not near my practice tests... I guess I never put it together on test day. I took the LSAT 3 times and I am happy with a 158 cause that was the best I could do after taking a class 3 times and going through countless books.

Is 163/3.9 really that much of a reverse-splitter?
It does seem a little surprising as 163 is the lowest LSAT score that has been accepted according to LSN but doesn't seem to be too shocking to me, especially if he has strong resume as indicated in his profile.
In any event, 163/3.9 can't be bad news for us that are still waiting. Maybe (hopefully) it's a sign of more admissions decisions to come!

Re: University of Alabama c/o 2016
Took a visit to Tuscaloosa and the law school this week and very much enjoyed both. I'll be very seriously considering heading to Alabama for the fall.
One note to share that will interest those here: while applications at many schools are obviously down this cycle, that's not true at Alabama. As of Wednesday, the assistant dean for admissions told me the school was only one application short of the total it received in the entire 2011-12 cycle. Looks like interest in the school has only grown.
