Due to the decline in applicants and the hit it surely took to its GPA spread last year, It seems reasonable to assume that GW will accept all +3.0 167s this year like it accepted all +3.0 168s last year. Thoughts?

Also, last year it started accepting high GPAs with 165s, 166s, and 167s at 3.8, it seems. We should also assume that this GPA floor will fall a little this year, right?

I have a 3.6 and was accepted on Friday. There's hope.

You're an auto-admit though with your 169. You would have been last year as well.

My stats, for example, of 167/3.74 was a WL last year. I'm hoping one of the two things I mentioned above will change.

Not a single 168 NOT accepted. ALL were accepted.

The *vast* majority of 167s under 3.8 were WL'd.



Pretty robotic, impersonal admissions process, eh? Oh well


Anyway, I'm wondering if, this year, that LSAT magic number will be 167 or if that GPA magic numbers lowers a bit too.

It seems the 2010-2011 cycle was a little less robotic, but that still there was a magic number, 167.

Yeah, but I'm counting at least 15 169+'s with sub-3.8 GPAs who were waitlisted/rejected. It's not that robotic.

Status updated to "Decision Made." No email yet; the status checker says to allow up to ten days for the email. If it actually takes ten days for them to send an email I'm going to be upset.

168 / 3.06 here for me, so it's obviously a bit of a reach.

3.17, 169. Hopefully they're not culling all the low GPA folks today.

I have a significantly lower GPA and still have seen no movement whatsoever. This may not be bad news for you.
