Has anyone gotten fee waivers from BU and if so, what was your LSAT score? I'm above median for both LSAT and GPA and haven't heard anything..

I solicited and got one but good luck getting it to work

Something is funky with BU and LSAC. BU has it recorded in their system that we have waivers but the LSAC site is still charging the fee. I have literally been on the phone with LSAC and BU for hours and all they ever did was blame each other.

Seems weird to waitlist someone then offer money, no? I'm not saying it doesn't happen all the time, the mentality behind it just seems like someone panicking, "Well just hold on, not sure about you yet OH FUCK HERE TAKE FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS PLEASE".

From all the anecdotal evidence on TLS, you are waitlisted until the school needs you to help with medians, then when they need your number (LSAT in our case) they will throw money at you in order for you to commit.

I called BU yesterday and the girl who answered was super rude with me, but I guess it's because so many people have been having problems.
I'm not sure what to do because I don't want them to be irritated with me while they are reviewing my file.

You should definitely be able to get one. Email the admissions office.

I can confirm this in my case. I was waitlisted last year with 168/3.8 and later got a 75k offer in April.

I just paid for my app even though I had a fee waiver (that wasnt working).. I wanted to get all my apps in early so I figured it wasnt worth the trouble but I can definitely understand why someone would wait to save that money.

Probably not a stretch. You're at the LSAT median and not too far below GPA. I think you're fine.
