Mine is fine with Firefox. So I doubt it's the browser.

Step 1- try it on a different computerbruwinning24 wrote:My status checker has never worked. I've used Mozilla, Safari, and Internet Explorer. Anyone know what to do?
Step 2- if that doesn't work, contact Stanford

First blog post of the cycle. http://blogs.law.stanford.edu/admissions/
This is worth bookmarking if you haven't already. Last year there was a post on the morning of the first round of calls: "It’s mid-December and I’ve not yet started to make my calls to you. That will change very soon ..."
Unexpected humorous tone makes me want this even more (is that possible?)
Happy Monday.

+1. The most beautiful thing about it is that that's her voice without a doubt. She gave me that exact advice last year, along with helping me make decisions between SLS & HLS. As a result, I deferred and am going to SLS. Any advice you can get from a Dean of Admissions is a priceless gem!sean21 wrote:First blog post of the cycle. http://blogs.law.stanford.edu/admissions/

checking in is only not cool if you're posting in a thread where everyone's waiting for something big that day or week. so if you're bumping this thread unnecessarily with a check-in late-december early-january, then you're just giving everyone a gratuitous heart attack

Checking in. Applied last night. My numbers make Stanford a reach since I'm not a URM. They gave me a need-based fee waiver, so no harm in applying

Anyone who has perused the 2011/12 thread know when the first decisions rolled out last year?

About the various status checkers problems: mine only worked once (in September) and has never worked ever since, I tried on several computers as well as several browsers. I recommend you contact SLS about this. That's what I did, we try a bunch of stuff such as resetting ny password but nothing worked so they will just email me directly when a decision will be made upon my application.

If my status checker says, "file submitted for review," does that mean it's complete? Thanks!

I have this too, as of 11/2. I'm pretty sure it means we're UR.JohnMarshall17 wrote:If my status checker says, "file submitted for review," does that mean it's complete? Thanks!

That would be surprising considering I submitted 2 days before I received my status checker with that status! Although Stanford is definitely a reach, I wouldn't consider my numbers alone enough to warrant an auto-ding.lsacqueen wrote:I have this too, as of 11/2. Hey everyone, just checking in here. Stanford is sort of a reach for me, as it kind of is for anyone, but I'm excited about the chance!

Re: Stanford C/O 2016 Applicants Thread
So I got my status checker and it says my file is incomplete, but everything that they require from me is in. I sent my dean's letter in way before I ever applied and the checker says that it is there. The only thing not checked is study abroad transcript, which I won't have. Hmm...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
