So is everyone who is admitted getting phone calls, or have some people only found out via status checker with no call?

In with 15k a year with phone call. Status checker never changed from under review.
Really happy with this admittance. Hopefully Brooklyn gives me some money to help negotiate.

Did you get into the May pt program? If so, how did you get money, I thought you couldn't get money to that program. I've been UR since october for May. Haven't heard anything yet.

Just got an email actually saying I got in FT with 18k/yr. Pretty happy about this as well, but it is still such an expensive school, Was under review since 11/7.

In via phone call with $24k/year
very excited about this one but it still would be so expensive. Hoping to negotiate up a little bit.

In today with 20k/year. They called my cell phone while I was on a tour of another school. It was so frustrating to see the number and not be able to answer.

I was accepted today and I thought I marked may start on my app but it appears that I didn't. I edited my previous response so as not to confuse anyone.JDHopeful111 wrote:Has anyone heard any decision from the may program? Re: Cardozo c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 cycle)
I think there is some confusion here.
As far as I know everyone who apply for the may start applied for a full time program. The only difference is that they will start their full time prog in the summer and the a few classes before the fall of their 1L, giving a way to ease into school. I really don't think - and people can correct me if I'm wrong - that anyone who is admitted to the may stat is going to do a part time JD program.

Yeah. Its not a part time program. Its more like a slow start? You take a the same amount of classes as 1L you just start in May instead of August. At least I think that's how it works.JayJones78 wrote:I think there is some confusion here.

MAY ENTRY
Students entering in May complete the first-year curriculum in three part-time semesters--summer, fall, and spring. Following the successful completion of the first-year curriculum, they finish their second and third years of law school as full-time students, graduating with the full-time students who started in the fall.

Yup. Exactly what I knew/though. FWIW I know a Cardozo 1L who started in May and said it was a great decision for him. If I end up getting admitted->attend there's no doubt I'll do a May start. If you don't have a full time job that you're leaving for law school I don't see a reason why to not do it.cnk wrote:MAY ENTRY

Yeah. I was going back and forth between the two and at the end I selected Fall. This is what I get for applying to way to many schools.JayJones78 wrote:Yup. Exactly what I knew/though.
