This. Not gonna lie, I had my hopes up that the conversation was going to end with an offer, especially since I missed the phone call at first and was responding to a voicemail. Any sense as to if/when offers would go out? And do we know if there's any aid available at this point? Bah, questions I should have just asked the admin instead of just stumbling over myself.

Sent an LOCI Friday explicitly stating I would attend if admitted, so hoping that is why I did't get a ~feeler call~.

I also got this feeler call today... I was shocked to see 212 on my phone haha. I'm desperately trying not to get my hopes up, but NYU has been my number one choice for months.

Ah, clearly I posted this information in the wrong thread earlier.

Got the feeler call today as well, 172/3.5. I dunno, I didn't get the impression that an offer was a sure thing, but that could've just been how my conversation went...

Do we know if anybody who received this feeler call in the past was not offered shortly thereafter? I read a few pages back about someone who got the call but then was mistakenly taken off the waitlist. The mistake was resolved, but I don't know if he ended up getting in. It seems like everyone in this thread who got the feeler call a couple weeks ago ended up getting an acceptance call later.

The first thing to change is the status checker, it should change to DLS.

my guess: they try to get in contact with people for the beginning of the week, figure out who they're offering to, and release decisions late in the week.

So it looks like there were 5 phone calls made today to TLSers. Anyone have an update to their status checker today? I agree with commoblue in that the offer was not a sure thing as per my convo, but I'm also unable to find reports of people who got calls and then didn't get in (last year/this year WL threads). Ugh, gl everyone.

I've no DLS status either, but I did email them this morning just to make sure that I had answered in the affirmative/left no doubt that I'd attend. I mentioned that they'd called and i just wanted to reiterate my interest, and they responded with "Your enthusiasm is appreciated and has been duly noted. Thank you for your patience and continued interest throughout the long admissions process, you will be receiving notification shortly."

I also contacted them today and got a similar response- I got a very positive vibe from the guy I spoke to so, fingers crossed!

I got in off the wait list a couple weeks ago. Got the "gauging interest" phone call wed, got DSL on Friday and could log in to the ASW by Friday night, then got an official phone call on monday followed by a letter. Never got an email.
