GM is looking more and more like a possibility for me... How outrageous is housing in Arlington?

You don't want to know, especially in the area right around GMU's law campus. Check out http://www.padmapper.com/ to get an idea. If you really want to live in walking distance of the school and don't mind living with roomates in a cramped apartment you can probably dig around and find something in the $800 range. If you want more space, cheaper prices try moving out to the Falls Church area and you can metro/drive/bus in.

I contacted GMU admissions regarding scholarship decisions. They told me it is separate from the welcome package and should be sent out late Feb / early march. Congrats to everyone!
