I submitted my app months ago, but it's been sitting in the admin office, waiting for the Dec. LSAT score to come out (which they did yesterday). I hope I did well enough to get in, it's my top choice! :)

If my status says "decision made," but shows zeros for the seat deposits, is it safe to assume that they didn't let me in?

I sure hope so. My stats aren't great but everything else on my app is strong... we'll see!
Yep, that was a rejection. Lame...

Part-time or full-time? in-state or out of state?

Does anyone know if UMD law is more lenient towards in-state applicants? Some programs are but I am not sure if that's the case for Maryland as well.

I've heard mixed things about this. My understanding is that their official answer is "no", but who knows what goes on when they are reviewing applications? Personally, I'm applying part-time so I hope they are more favorable to those that work/live in-state.

I assumed correctly. Maryland could have saved 44 cents by emailing me the rejection, and saved me a weekend of wondering whether or not I got in.

My application status is still "received". It was marked received on 1/5/12. Has anyone who applied in 2012 been marked complete? I applied part-time btw.

I submitted my app yesterday and faxed in my instate form today. My stats are 160/3.2 so it will be a stretch, but UMD is definately my top choice.
