No worries...You'll get the e-mail. It just seems to take a day or two to arrive. I got mine the afternoon after my status checker changed. I hope you get some good news!

Not sure what the rolling eyes are all about Decandler29, but LSU is a safety school for me. I'm not trying to be arrogant. I am a big fan of LSU and their law program, but it isn't my first choice school.
I think people who do have LSU as their first choice are just being sensitive.

I'm sure mxmatt didn't mean for it to come off that way, but the statement did have an arrogant tone.

Either way it is just a little inconsiderate to act so nonchalant about being accepted to a certain school while people are stressing about it.

I agree. LSU isn't my number one choice, but I thought the same thing when I read that comment. Definitely had an arrogant tone, although probably unintentional.

LSU is not my first choice and I have a full ride to attend. It has nothing to do with being sensitive, but the poster did come off as very arrogant. I'm not saying that he/she meant to be, but the one who posted rolling eyes had a point.

Perhaps this is true. However, it seems my tone has caused quite a bit of trouble. To those that are offended by my previous post - I am sorry. I make most of my posts on TLS from work, and as such I don't spend much time considering the tone of my messages. I wasn't trying to be arrogant. I was being blunt for lack of time.

FWIW we must all remember that this is, with the exception of the time between choosing and actually beginning school, the least stressful time of the next 3+ years. I again apologize for the arrogant tone, but if one person's accidental arrogance is enough to Rouse this much attention you may want to reconsider what you are getting yourself into.

No one was really rousing attention except for you because you were the one that brought up the rolling eyes thing. Everyone else just said that you did come off as arrogant, which is true. Don't get sensitive about it, just let it go and keep us updated about your status. That's all anyone really cares about.

Any recent acceptances/scholarships?

wow- didn't expect my emoticon to generate this much attention lol. Sorry if it came across as bitchy, it was meant to be playful in nature. It was really more a reference to you getting a decision so quickly and saying you were "anxious", and not your tone. I've been waiting for about 2 months for an answer, so I thought it was humorous that you were acting stressed after 2 weeks is all :) no hard feelings for all the misunderstandings. The internet makes it hard to detect joking, sarcasm, and such.

It is looking like I have pretty much narrowed it down to either LSU or Loyola. I am probably leaning 90%/10% towards LSU right now. The only reasons that I am really considering Loyola is my girlfriend is most likely going to LSU med school in Nola in August and I am getting somewhat sick of BR. This all depends on what kind of scholarship Loyola offers though. Is anyone in a similar situation right now with deciding between LSU and Loyola?

Assuming I get in to LSU, I'm feeling the same way. I've dreamed about going to LSU since middle school, so for me it would have to be a REALLY good scholarship to change my mind on LSU.

That being said, I also applied to Regent and Liberty Universities. I want to work for the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian legal organization, so if they offer me a good enough scholarship then they would be in serious contention as well.

But it's hard to say since I've been waiting 2 months for LSU to give me a decision :( It would help with the process of picking a law school if I knew whether LSU was even an option...

While I have serious prospects out of Louisiana, I am also applying to both LSU and Loyola. I would choose LSU over Loyola easily, UNLESS I was offered a generous scholarship to Loyola, which is basically why I applied.

Don't go to Loyola. If you really want to get out of BR, go to Tulane Law.

Same here lol I got all excited for a few seconds

On a side note, I got accepted at Liberty University and they offered me a 95% scholarship... that's gonna be hard to turn down LSU or not. :?

Can you let us know how long it took you to receive the email? It seems like other applicants had a decent waiting time from when their status checker was updated until the time they finally received their email.
