You'll be fine. Environmental law is about making sure the company for which you work does not have to clean up it's problems. It sounds fun!

Got a phone call from the Dean today saying I was accepted with scholarship! Unfortunately I missed the call but she left a nice voicemail!

Did your status checker change? (i'm anxious about schools notifying by mail only because i won't be back to check my school mailbox until early january)

I just looked, and my complete date is still 12/12, and nothing shows up in the mailing section. I also did not receive an email or (like some others), and telephone call. It looks like you'll have to wait until January unless the dean calls you.

I hope you have good news in your mailbox for the new year!

Got the call too! I was so mad that I was driving in a town notorious for its anti-driving with cell phone laws, so I couldn't pick up. Great news to hear though!

Just got another call from the Dean, they're giving me 30k a year, stipulation is a 2.9 average.

FYI... looks like 2.9 is just below median... median for last years 1L class is 2.98.

I go here...it's really not that 'environmental law oriented'. I mean, they have a great program. But I (and a healthy percentage of others) have no interest in environmental law and there is plenty going on for other fields.
I definitely don't think that you shouldn't go here if you aren't into environmental law. It's not at all the only thing going on. They just hype it a lot because it's popular.

I went complete on Oct. 25th (applied a couple days before). Was notified on Dec. 22nd.

Just got the phone call! in w/ $12k/yr
165/2.74 in hard science w/ major upward grade trend (super bad first year)
Also MS in env science and public policy.
