He is talking previous round of held candidates ...it was about a week or more ago and everyone got a waitlist of some type

Ditto. I'm very much aware that I don't have the numbers to deserve an acceptance, but the wait since being Held (and love from Cornell) got my hopes up... this is gonna hurt. :lol: But I would really really love for this to be good news!

wow. regular waitlist. are you kidding me? last year I made it onto the preferred waitlist with a worse LSAT score. jeez. UVA it is!

In the Georgetown waiting thread I'm pretty sure someone said they admit roughly 50 out of 500 on the preferred waitlist. There are also people whose emails said they were in a "special group within the preferred waitlist" so they may be ahead of you in the queue.

Preferred waitlist as well. At least if Yale rejects me Georgetown will have broken my lucky streak first 8)

lol i just saw that they´ve placed me "within a special group in our preferred waiting list"....does that mean I´m preferred of the preferred?? :shock: i don´t know what to believe anymore...

i'll just do it anyway and if anyone is annoyed they can tell me to leave (the georgetown waitlist thread is only like 2 posts long). So yeah I'm in the "special group" like the poster above. Did anyone figure out if this actually meant we were special? haha
