also got the waitlist email, so much for "you are one of a relatively small number of applicants remaining on the wait list". I guess the key word is relatively

I also got the generic email

I also got an individualized email yesterday however asking me to set up a call. That email said that they anticipate a few spots will open up as soon as today/Friday. I had that call this morning. It was someone from the admissions committee basically saying they were going to recommend my file for admission but wanted to check my interest/availability first.

I asked them about merit aid, they said they doubted there was any left but would check. They checked and sent me an email saying there was none, and I just withdrew.

Good luck to everyone still alive, there seem to be a few spots left

I got the still on waitlist email as well but am withdrawing as I sent in the deposit waiver/commitment to GULC this week.

I got a call like that a few weeks ago. They said they were looking at files for spots if there were to be any spots. I asked about FinAid and the woman said she'd have someone contact me and they never did.

Yes - I sent one a few days after I went to the school and met with an advisor for the information appointments they allow people on the waitlist to schedule.

If anyone recently got in- my friend was going to penn law- just got off the waitlist to nyu today so there should be a spot opening up. He now has a room he needs to sublet. he's living with two penn (undergrad) alums who are both working and very easy going and just looking for someone friendly. the apartment is really nice and in a great location. the room is also surprisingly cheap ($800/month). if anyone's looking for an apt, PM me and I can give you more details and pictures.
