7 ED apps on LSN this year vs. 15 last year. Fewer LSAT takers overall. No post on Chicago's Twitter suggesting a bumper crop of applicants. The beginnings of a return in economic confidence, so people think the end of the crisis is near, thus prompting fewer to wish to "hide out" for a few years in grad school. Also a whole lot of my hopes and a desire to avoid this thread stagnating.

Eh, who knows how representative that is of the law school applicant pool. However, the fact that at this point last year there were 30 pgs of U of C ED as compared to only 4 this year is interesting.

Yeah, just trying to keep this thread moving. It's shorter than UNC or CU-Boulder...; this is meant to be TLS.

Well, the thread I posted is for general UChicago. There wasn't any ED-specific thread last year. Still, less activity overall.

For what it's worth their admissions Twitter had posted they were going to start making calls before they actually did as well as a couple of other notices. Hope this doesn't affect us but it may mark a departure from their procedure last year.

Just found this forum, waiting for ED UC, great to find others in same situation. Not sure what my chances are, high GPA but average LSAT for UC, no WE. Looks like they are changing the pitch this year, no phone calls today. Going to be a long weekend zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
