On LSN it seemed like they were pretty slow last year, but one day between receiving it and going under review this year... Dang Berkeley, they got their stuff together!
Exactly.r6_philly wrote:No they didn't. I submitted 9/22, under review yesterday. You guys just came in right as they started to review. I hope they go by order of completion because otherwise I submitted a month ago for nothing lol

It looks like this means they're properly looking at applications and not just giving us BS 'under review' statuses. Hopefully they are reviewed in the order they went complete.shanemahsa wrote:Applied 9/16, under review 10/18.
I dunno. Seems like a ton of people went under review all at the same time, which seems a bit odd--how many apps can they really be actively considering at any given point? I submitted 10/13, went complete 10/14, and went under review 10/18. Surely there are tons of people ahead of me in the pile...cigrainger wrote:It looks like this means they're properly looking at applications and not just giving us BS 'under review' statuses. I'm pretty sure the general consensus last year was that being "in review" doesn't mean much. Some people "in review" since mid-October during the last cycle went to faculty review mid-Jan/Feb, and thus were in review for over 3 months. I wouldn't fret over which app gets seen before others, etc etc...it really doesn't matter. Pretty much all apps will go in review within a week of being complete, regardless of numbers or when you submit.zworykin wrote:I dunno. I applied on the 9th, under review on the 14th.r6_philly wrote:No they didn't. I submitted 9/22, under review yesterday. You guys just came in right as they started to review. I hope they go by order of completion because otherwise I submitted a month ago for nothing lol

He happen to mention when round 1 of acceptances/rejections go out?nematoad wrote:Just sat down with dean tom today to talk about my application and ask a few general questions . I was amazingly bland. Surely getting a rejection soon.
No but he did say that some of the apps that are "under review" have already been reviewed. So I take that to mean some decisions have been made? They just haven't notified anyone yet. Based off past cycles it looks like early november.Ildeuce wrote:He happen to mention when round 1 of acceptances/rejections go out?nematoad wrote:Just sat down with dean tom today to talk about my application and ask a few general questions . Looks like mid-nov
Quickly?? They started accepting apps in september I believe. A lot of people will have multiple decisions by the time UCB decisions come out..CoastGuard3 wrote:

Yes took me 27 days to go from submit to complete. I think the decisions that come out mid November will be September applications. Well I hope.tkgrrett wrote:Quickly??
