Congrats! Are you considering attending?

I'm not on PT but I went Under Review on 9/29. Hopefully my decision is two days away!

Dammit...Priority Reserve email today. I was really hoping to get an acceptance, but it looks like I'll have to wait for some other schools. Now I'm really nervous. 3.7x, 175, no Why Duke.

Looks like YP, since you're a shoo-in for CCN.

Still, might want to give your app materials a second look before submitting to other schools. Better to be safe than sorry. I have similar numbers+AA male and I was admitted.

+1

I have very similar numbers to you hemm, also didn't write a "Why Duke" and was accepted. It's likely just a yield thing but be sure to give your app a once over one more time.

Not sure if you care enough to, but if you want, crank out a why duke really quick and shoot it over. that'll make them un-YP you most likely.

Yeah I'm gonna check over my app for any mistakes when I get home from work today. Now I'm all paranoid.

Got an email indicating the asw travel stipend will be $150 again this year. Its nice to get anything but I was hoping they would maybe push it back up to $250 like it was a couple years back.

I'll definitely consider Duke, it's a great school.

I didn't write a Why Duke essay, I was in a hurry to just get the apps out so I could stop stressing over it.

I applied PT and went complete September 20th and was accepted October 5th (didn't meet the 10-day deadline, but no big deal).

Didn't write a Why Duke essay.

Got my acceptance packet in the mail today with a very nice handwritten note from the Dean. Very classy - Duke is impressing me.
