FWIW I received an offer from an office before the shutdown, and I've been told that new AUSA processing/onboarding is paused in light of the shutdown. The shutdown may not affect interviewing, but may affect if/when an offer will be extended.

My office is hiring (or at least trying desperately to do so) and we’ve been able to interview during the shutdown, but everything else is a little unclear. We have been told that can extend verbal/unofficial offers, but we can’t really process anything officially until the shutdown is over. I’m sure it’s partly the lack of appropriations but also, the people in DC responsible for handling all this stuff aren’t at work right now.
