Did anyone else have the FTC honors first-round interview? I had mine last week and hoping to hear back soon either way.
First round interviews are still taking place this week

Update: panel couldn't provide a timeline but they're trying to get back to candidates asap for 2nd round

I really hope for the SEC we at least see the "referred" message on USAJobs before the potential government shutdown later this week. They seem to be much slower this year.

Helpful - thanks for sharing. Has anyone heard anything from other DOL field offices?

Has any of the DOL field offices sent CB invites?
Denver sent out invites, but haven't heard of any other office

Just got an email from DOL with the subject line "Notice of Referral Status":

"This is a record of the referral status for the position of HONORS ATTORNEY PROGRAM, LAW CLERK / ATTORNEY, GS-0904/0905-11/12/13/14 (DC), with Office of the Solicitor as detailed in EX-23-SOL-HONORS-01.

If you have been referred to the selecting official for employment consideration, you may be contacted for an interview. Final selections will be made by January 2024."

I can't decipher this for some reason. Is this telling me anything about my referral status or is it just saying that they're beginning to refer people in general?

I got the same email, checked my applicant status through USAJobs, and was not referred. Hopefully you have better results!

Anyone receive offers from OCC? It sounds like Veterans Day was their original goal, but I read in the past few years' forums that they didn't send out rejection emails, so I'm wondering if radio silence is a rejection.

Still waiting here. Haven't heard of anyone getting an offer yet. I didn't know they didn't send rejection emails. I think I'll follow up directly then
That's a good idea, if they reject that way or on the upside respond that offers haven't been made, that would be really helpful to post here. I'm going to email them and ask and will do the same if I hear back.

Has anyone been contacted by DOT asking for references, following a second-round interview? Not sure if that is still a step they will be taking this year, but I know in past years they have reached out for references before extending offers.

Mine also says not referred but I interviewed for DOL Solicitor's Office in August or September. FWIW.

Has anyone heard anything new about the FTC Honors hiring timeline? They were moving so quickly early on in the process, but it's been crickets the last few weeks.

They're still doing 1st round interviews. It seems they don't have a timeline, so it wouldn't be surprising if they're not even sure of hiring or if movement will take place in January

FYI my status just updated to "referred" for HUD, so hopefully they'll be reaching out to interview people soon (fingers crossed)! Based on last year's posts, they've seemed to go a bit slower than some of the other agencies.
I got a HUD interview offer this morning, Tuesday Nov 21 (two days before Thanksgiving).

Considering the fact that they started sending out screener invites almost 2 months ago, I'm just going to assume this is a delayed response rather than get my hopes up. Everyone that said they got an interview got one before ever getting a referred email.

Plus when I worked for a federal agency last summer, I didn't get an email saying I was referred until a week before my first day on the job lol

Still no news on interview invites from the SEC?
Initial offers were supposed to be out by now according to the timeline from their info session in August, lol.

I was also not referred, but I had a screener in late September/early October with the Chicago field office. Did anyone else have a screener and had a not referred status? At the time of my screener my app status was just received

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
