Just as a heads up - I reached out to my DOL contact about timeline and they told me applications are still under consideration they don't have a date by which offers will be made.

As a heads-up, interview offers have been sent out for the NLRB honors program for at least the Texas and Minneapolis offices. Has anyone heard from another office?

What NLRB Regions have people gotten interview requests from? I know at least Region 18 and 16 have sent invites.

Spoke with someone from SEC, they said budget plus this being the first year really running a proper chair's program in a while is causing issues. Other big gov people I have spoken to echoed the former as a major problem, basically said don't hold your breath.

I haven't, apparently someone was told by an office they'll receive an offer, but the offices I interviewed with said that all future contact would be through HR

I also received a referred email from FCC this morning. Does anyone know when they will begin interviewing? Can you defer for a year if you have a clerkship or similar type of job?

I interviewed with the FCC in January...the referral email last week was the only thing I've heard since.

SEC Scholars Fall 2024 application opened today. I guess we're never hearing about SEC Honors, haha.

I interviewed with the FCC in January and reached out to them around a month ago asking about a timeline. They said they’d be making their selections soon. I haven’t heard anything else besides receiving the referral email last week. I don’t think you are able to defer because during the interview they stressed I would need to be finished with any clerkships/fellowships by this upcoming fall to be considered.

Yes, generally the feds won't defer people (I think some of it has to do with budgetary restrictions). It doesn't hurt to ask, but it's probably not going to happen.

Have all the interview invites for the NLRB gone out? I haven't seen any mention of HQ. Has the Chicago office sent job offers?

Any updates on GC headquarters, Boardside and NYC/LA offices honors program? I know people with NLRB honors jobs already but I have heard absolutely nothing from these offices/regions. I'd simply like to be rejected or just know what the timeline is like.

Budget issues. Hiring freeze in effect. IDK whether this means no Honors Program at all.

Still haven't heard an update yet. Hoping they make offers into the summer and unfreeze this mess of a budget.
