Unless anyone has heard anything, seeing as though it's December on Friday and it's been almost three weeks since Veteran's Day, I'm thinking it may be fair to toss in the towel on hearing back from OCC.

*Cue Bernie Sander's meme*
I'm once again asking: if anyone has heard from the NSA.

Based on reviewing previous years' threads, it seems like agencies across the board are moving much slower this year.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 7:46 pmUnless anyone has heard anything, seeing as though it's December on Friday and it's been almost three weeks since Veteran's Day, I'm thinking it may be fair to toss in the towel on hearing back from OCC.

Which division? I interviewed with several divisions (field and DC) and most already sent rejections letters, so I'm assuming they're done by now

Know people with offers at OCC so can presume they're probably done hiring. Also got call getting declined from CFPB

Emailed requesting an update and got a response last week that they're not done hiring. I'm assuming no rejection yet in case people turn down offers, but I doubt that'll be the caseAnonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 7:46 pmUnless anyone has heard anything, seeing as though it's December on Friday and it's been almost three weeks since Veteran's Day, I'm thinking it may be fair to toss in the towel on hearing back from OCC.

Re: 2023–2024 Federal Honors Programs (Non-DOJ)
I applied to all the honors ones and got rejections from all, except the one I interviewed with. That one says Im at the "Hiring List" point of the process, but the internet doesn't have much info about what that entails. No contact since my Sept. interview.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 11:37 amWhich division? Is the SEC alive? There's been movement for their spring internships and non-honors attorney advisor hiring, but nothing for the honors program.

I am once again asking if anybody has heard anything from DOT or if I should give up hope at this point.

I haven't been able to find out about someone getting an offer but at this point I'm giving up. They interviewed over 30 people for less than 10 positions last round. :/Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 12:29 pmI am once again asking if anybody has heard anything from DOT or if I should give up hope at this point.

Heard from DOT today. Invited for same-day last-minute 3rd-round interview with directors of program. They said they are working to make final decisions "by the end of the year."

Anyone know the IRS Honors payscale for someone completing a clerkship? Is it the same as the LLM?

How long did it take them to respond to your email request? And did you ever get a formal rejection?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 5:33 pmEmailed requesting an update and got a response last week that they're not done hiring. Re: 2023–2024 Federal Honors Programs (Non-DOJ)
I just received the following status update e-mail from NLRB: " You are eligible and are being advanced to the next phase of the hiring process. You may be contacted for one or more interviews to further assess your qualifications."
I was definitely surprised to receive this update. My application was stuck on "Processed" for the longest time.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
