Yep, it was so casual I feel dumb preparing as much as I did. They said they plan on sending out call back invites by the middle of the month.

Any movement on NSA? Applied early August but haven't heard since they confirmed receipt of my application
I emailed them about the status of my application and the next day they notified me that I was not moving to the next round. I’m not mad about it either lol

I received an email rejecting my app a couple of weeks ago (it said thank you for interviewing but I didn't?)
And last week I received an update saying my app was referred. I think they've probably interviewed people already

Not sure if this is the same for field offices, but I heard that headquarters for non-tax hopes to wrap up hiring decisions by the end of this week.

Applied late July, first round mid September. No words yet, but the online status tracker moved from review to interview/testing. So maybe a good sign?

Has anyone heard about the NRC's clerkship program for the ASLBP? The USAJOBS announcement just switched to canceled over the past few days and I don't know if that means it's been filled or that they literally canceled the position.

Can confirm CFPB offices seem to still be reaching out (got a screener invite today). They didn't say that more might reach out in the future, like they seemed to say for people who got invites last week, so not sure which offices still haven't moved.

Did you get an email that your application had been referred? I just got one for FTC honors and I realized I never got one for CFPB.

Which division, if you don't mind sharing?

FYI my status just updated to "referred" for HUD, so hopefully they'll be reaching out to interview people soon (fingers crossed)! Based on last year's posts, they've seemed to go a bit slower than some of the other agencies.

One of the offices within the Legal Division (probably shouldn't be more specific than that because they seem to interview for specific offices rather than generally). FYI, I never got an email from them saying my app was referred before they reached out.

This seems consistent with my experience. I had a CFPB Division of Enforcement interview last week (I did not do well *sigh*) and then my FTC honors went to referred this week even though CFPB never did.

Congratulations! I assume I am an alternate and/or my reference check did not go well.

IRS tax field offices have made offers for anyone who's waiting for them. Probably some stragglers, though.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
