Has anyone applied recently to either the rolling open application for trial attorneys at DOJ Antitrust or any of the FTC Bureau of Competition postings?
Wondering what to expect in terms of timing on next steps, if there are any.

For the FTC, don't expect movement anytime soon. The rolling open applications are meant to allow for rapid movement if there are spots to fill. There aren't any such spots right now, but that could always change. Definitely submit if interested, but be patient.believeland wrote: ↑Mon Nov 14, 2022 3:28 pmHas anyone applied recently to either the rolling open application for trial attorneys at DOJ Antitrust or any of the FTC Bureau of Competition postings?

Doesn't hurt to apply now, but both agencies are probably waiting for their next budgets to hire more attorneys.

I interviewed at FTC recently. I submitted my application back in Oct/November and someone from the office directly emailed me asking for interview availability some time later.

I also interviewed at FTC recently and received offers -- subject to some approvals and background checks.
