Anyone heard anything from FDIC? My status still says Application Received.
Very delayed response here, but I got a request to interview 10/24. Interviewed 10/27, and been waiting since... did you ever hear anything? Anyone else?
Roughly the same boat. Nothing since that October interview

Same here for FDIC, also interviewed on 10/27 but nothing yet. I heard they were trying to get offers out by Thanksgiving but not sure if that happened. I do know they've at least checked one of my references.

What’s the etiquette for following up post-interview to find out where I stand in the hiring process?

I know government moves slow so I am curious about what’s an appropriate length of time to wait before following up. I’m getting antsy!

Got an interview with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers through OCI. Can somebody tell me what kind of law they do (their online page is very vague) and is the process the same as with the other agencies? Thank you!
Update: received a callback. Was also told they are moving very fast this year.
Update: Had the qualifying interview last week, just now received an email telling me I was selected for their Honors Attorney Program. Now I just wait till all their offices reach out to me for an interview? Is it safe to say that I got the job?
Update: had an interview with 2 field offices, both told me they'll get back to me in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed, but they have only 1 spot in each, so idk.
One of the field offices(Virginia) extended me a tentative offer. I'll be accepting it.
Also withdrawing from DOL and DOT, so hopefully you guy will have less competition.

I know some people received offers last week. There was a second "invitation" to apply to Enforcement that closed out on 11/19 as well. My status was referred on 11/23 but I have not, nor do I expect, heard anything since.
FWIW, I also heard CFPB was taking a ridiculously low number (1-3) of Honors attorneys this cycle but cannot confirm that is true. And I certainly hope it is not.

Does anyone know about the hiring process at the FCC? Their application was due just before Thanksgiving, and I’m not sure when I should expect to hear anything. Their website really didn’t say.

The application deadline was extended to today. So it will be a bit longer

Did you interview for Enforcement?

I’m a little confused by what you wrote. You know “some people” (implying more than one) that received offers but also heard that CFPB is taking possibly as few as one Honors Attorney. The fact that you know more than one person who received an offer seems to contradict that rumor…

What division did your friends receive offers from?

Anyone know if the SEC is planning on handing out rejections anytime soon, or should we assume rejections if we don’t hear back in the next week?

I did not interview with Enforcement. I applied during the original app cycle and the supplemental cycle that closed out last week. Crickets for both of them.

"Some" can be one person or two people or more, so I don't think there is a contradiction. Also, I said that I "heard CFPB was taking a ridiculously low number (1-3) of Honors attorneys[,]" suggesting that (a) this is unconfirmed and (b) that the low number leaves open the possibility that multiple offers could go out, which would not contradict what I said.

My info comes from a friend who works at the Bureau and that's all that was shared with me.

FWIW, I went through the honors hiring process for the SEC last cycle. I still have not received any formal rejection, though they obviously fulfilled their hiring needs. I also heard that the SEC targeted sending offers this time by mid-December, and each office has its own process, so I think the timeline is slightly longer.

Good question. Do you happen to know if all divisions/offices are making decisions next week or on the same day?

Yes, offered and accepted a few weeks ago, approximately 2 weeks after interview.

Congrats! I also accepted a tentative offer for a field office, and I'm very excited. Do you (or anyone else) know if GPA and class rank cutoffs only apply at the time of application, or do you need to maintain that through graduation?

Has anyone who received an informal offer been sent an official offer package yet? I’m wondering how long that takes. I’d like to start planning and telling people but I want it to be official first!

I'm not sure which agency you received your informal (tentative??) offer from but when I received an offer from the IRS it was a phone call explaining the offer and then shortly thereafter (I think the same day) I received a written tentative offer by email to sign electronically.

I can't answer your question, but (without disclosing anything) if they accepted me with my grades, you don't have to worry about dropping your rank lol.
