I got dinged after a 2nd interview a couple weeks ago, so they're narrowing it down a little at least.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 2:01 pmI had my final interview months ago and still have not heard back at all. So frustrating!

They are definitely still interviewing. I had a panel interview this week. Before that though, I had not heard from them since December. Wishing you the best of luck!

I am once again asking if anyone has heard from Cook County. Looks like people were getting offers by mid-March last year based on last year's thread so I'm hoping I'm not missing out.

Thank you for sharing. Did they inform you of the panel interview at least a week in advance? Just curious... If I'm fortunate to make it to the next round, I'd like enough time to prepare.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:02 pmThey are definitely still interviewing. They give you some options for dates and times, so you can certainly choose to interview a week from when you're notified.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 6:41 pmThank you for sharing. Hello,MeanieTeanie wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 1:32 pmAnyone have insight into what's going on with Los Angeles DA hiring? I recognize this is a time of transition for them, given the new DA was sworn in yesterday, but figured I'd check to see if anyone's heard anything.
From my contact with the office, it sounds like they are still having the hiring freeze that was instituted over the summer of 2020. Back when I first heard about it they said it would likely be a two year freeze due to the pandemic and a drop in funds.

Re: District Attorney's Offices 2021
Anyone get an offer or rejection from Suffolk (NY)? I had my final round before the holidays and I have been told that my application is still pending! So so stressed.
Also, does Brooklyn just not send out rejections? I have literally heard nothing since I applied in Sept. and any emails I've sent haven't received any replies. That was my top choice.
PS, those curious about LA: back in May they were hit with a hiring freeze and they said it would likely last 2 years (similarly to other LA county offices). I checked in again in December and they said the freeze was still in effect for fall 2021 positions (and they do their hiring starting in Jan anyway- no fall class hiring occurs). They do still have unpaid internships if you wind up unemployed and want the experience, not sure how it changes things to be a post bar law clerk though. It used to be that you would be paid as a post bar and then get hired and that was the best way to get hired fresh out of law school.

My situation is somewhat reversed - I haven’t heard from Suffolk NY since I applied in Sept and have had trouble getting in contact with anyone to get an update on my status. Did you email the application email address or call? (I tried both and don’t know what else to do, thats my #1 choice!)Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 5:51 pmAnyone get an offer or rejection from Suffolk (NY)? As for Brooklyn, I had two rounds of interviews and when several weeks passed after the second, I called for an update. I was told my app was still pending, that they’re all reviewed on a rolling basis, and that it could be months before I hear back again. That was around mid-December. I would try giving them a call if your emails haven't been answered. Good luck!!

Thank you for the info! I've been emailing with Suffolk, but that's odd that they haven't responded to you. I've gotten pretty quick responses to those emails. As for Brooklyn, did you call the main number online? I haven't seen any HR phone number (if you could PM me I'd really appreciate it! I can send the email I've been using!) Best xx
