I have a feeling that HUD already made first- and second-round offers because it's so late at this point. It really can't be that they are this slow.
That's what I think too. I reached out to my school's career services office and they're going to get in contact with an alumnus at the regional HUD office to see what the status is. So hopefully they'll be able to tell me something soon.

Anyone heard anything from Department of Education OCR? I see on USA Jobs that they extended the hiring window and curious what that means for timing.

Has anyone gotten a rejection from HUD? I assume those of us who have not heard anything since the last "are you still interested?" email were not selected, so I am just wondering if they are gonna formally tell us we were not selected.

Based on past threads, HUD sends out rejection notices by snail mail. I don't believe that has changed in light of Covid, especially given that other agencies and the courts are mailing other notices out.

Did anyone receive an offer from the Chicago office or know someone that did?

I didn't. But, I emailed HR a few weeks ago and they replied with this "applicants may call BFS at phone number 304-480-7300 for questions relating to the 2020-2021 Legal Honors announcement on USAJobs.gov." When I called that number, they had very little infomration....they basically just said offers have gone out. I asked if there were second-round offers made, and they said they didn't have that information.
