Per Deana:
"I've posted finalists for the Criminal Division and U.S. Trustee Program.
EOIR-BIA is coming shortly."

Re: DOJ Honors Program 2019-2020
FYI - Deana posted the following:
"Hi, folks:
I want to post some general information about the various timelines. I'm getting a lot of individual inquiries and, while I'd like to respond to each, I am handling overall program issues, including offer clearances, travel reimbursements, etc. So, in the spirit of getting the word out to as many people as possible, here goes:
FINALIST UPDATES - ONLINE STATUS: I anticipate that components will send me their finalist decisions this week, except for the USAO, Southern District of NY, which is participating informally and may not have completed its reviews. Then my office conducts offer clearance. We anticipate a large number of finalist decisions arriving in our office on Friday, Nov 22. That means we probably won't have cleared them all before the weekend. We hope to clear everyone by next Monday.
IF YOUR ONLINE STATUS DOES NOT CHANGE TO FINALIST BY NEXT TUESDAY: Then I'm terribly sorry, but you were not identified as a finalist at this time.
WHEN DO WE SEND "REGRETS" MESSAGES TO NON-FINALISTS: Probably not until a week or so after Thanksgiving. We allow time for additional finalists to be identified at the discretion of the hiring component. This is usually a VERY small number for the HP overall. Around this same time, we'll update online status to advise applicants who interviewed that they were not selected as a finalist.
WHAT IF I AM A FINALIST, HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN OFFER, AND HAVE A OOMPETING OFFER WITH A DEADLINE: Contact the selecting component directly and ask about your status.
WHAT IF I AM A FINALIST AND I DON'T RECEIVE AN OFFER BEFORE THANKSGIVING: Don't sweat it yet. I know its hard, but bear in mind that DOJ attorneys involved in the hiring process have trial schedules, and court filing deadlines, and other responsibilities, and the holidays are upon us. Lots of people will be out of the office next week for Thanksgiving. Reference checks may not be complete, either. And, if you are an OCIJ candidate, bear in mind that they are hiring a large number of attorneys, so it takes a while to get the offers issued, just due to volume.
WHEN A COMPONENT COMPLETES ITS HIRING - I will post an update on this message board. Once ALL HP hiring is complete, which generally isn't until March, we'll issue final regrets messages.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I ACCEPT AN ORAL OFFER: The component reaches out to you for information we need to issue a formal written offer letter and for it to initiate the background investigation. It's not an instantaneous process, so be patient. Our office tracks the candidates who accept offers and if we don't get the request for the formal offer letter, we follow up with the hiring component."

Yeah if anyone gets clarification about whether there are additional ENRD finalists to be designated that would be helpful

Those already designated will not change. There MAY be a couple of additions.

Thanks! And sure! I'm a 3L at a top 30 school, top 5%, environmental moot court, good non-profit environmental internships, engineering degree and 7 years of varied unrelated work experience. Nothing too spectacular, but the interview went really well I think.Anonymous User wrote:Congrats!
