I'm not worried in the long term, but will this derail everything now and prevent me from continuing ? or is DODMETS not an official weigh in and just making sure I am overall healthy? I don't really understand this process.
I know that they like to medically fail you when the initial exams don't come out exactly right. So I would get in contact with JARO and ask them if this is something that you should get ready to file a waiver for (or maybe they'll tell you it's nothing to worry about).

Hi, AD select as well. Did they take your measurements after you were weighed? You can pass body fat even if you are over the weight limit, if your measurements bring you within body fat.
They didn't , and it was only at an urgent care center which didn't feel right. I was following my alternate instructions because I haven't gotten new ones when I accepted the AD offer.
I was told they'll take your body measurements at the physical, in addition to your weight. I'm not assigned to an urgent care though.

My guess is that they will be released on 24 April.

I like it. I'll be slightly more optimistic and go with 22 April.

Logged in to the application and saw they changed the Board date from April 1 to April 8, so if they take the same amount of time as recently, hopefully results next week. It used to take over a month when I first applied a couple of years ago, though.

Last board (November) the rejections came on on Friday the 22nd, so wouldn't that mean that if they were taking the same amount of time to do this board, results would be expected at the end of the month?

Just got an email with the subject line "U.S. Air Force JAG Corps - April DAP Board Update." Heart sunk for a moment. Then, turns out it was not actually a rejection email. Just a jumpscare.

Email just went out to AF DAP. Positive results should come today or early next week, rejections late next week.

Applicants for the AF April DAP just got an email which said that results should be expected within 30 days. That was more or less the extent of it.

Yeah, got the email. Just wasn’t sure if the anon had inside information. This week and next week was just drastically different than what the email said.

The exact same email was sent in September and November and within 1-2 days, posts popped up on this thread that calls were going out.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it will happen this time, but I agree that it tends to be the trend.

Ugh, I’m at the point where I’ve talked myself into “this board will be different.” But I know it won’t. I just want to get the rejection email. Hopefully it comes next week.

Woah, wait. So just so I understand this, results for the DAP board have been coming out the same month as the board?

I applied a couple years ago and "barely missed the cut." But results were mid to late May. Applied again for the April board, but didn't expect results to come out until mid May at the earliest. Rain or shine, I will be much more relaxed hearing sooner rather than later (although now you just increased my stress level ten-fold for this weekend).

Don't stress for this weekend; the call won't come on a Sunday. :)

I’ve applied to the last few boards and acceptances are usually a couple weeks after the board with rejections a couple days after that. Obviously this one is different, but I’d imagine calls will go out middle of this week or next week.

Last two boards the calls started going out on Monday. In November, the email update went out on Thursday and then calls started that Monday. Maybe today?

It's getting towards the end of Monday now, and still no posters have reporting receiving acceptance phone calls. If the email last time went out on Thursday and the calls started two business days later on Monday, perhaps our update on Friday meant accepted candidates will start seeing calls tomorrow.

Nothing here. Probably no calls going out yet, but there aren’t many people on this forum so it’s technically possible.

I would also, love any insight on these last two posts. Trying to keep a level head about this entire thing, but some doubt is starting to creep in.
It's actually pretty crazy over here due to COVID-19. Although the training is continuing, it is nothing like how it was conducted in the past. The 211th is staying at Benning at the moment conducting virtual JAOBC right now after graduating DCC. As far as DOD stop order, JAG is working with DOD with an ETP. Everything is scheduled a year out, so I am pretty sure that they will figure something out with August 2020 DCC class, even if Covid pandemic still is going on during that time frame.

DCC was literally the only company training on post - I guess JAGs are "essential."

Woke up this morning to a missed call on my phone. My first phone call in weeks! Was very excited, until I called back and learned it was from a telemarketer, not from the Air Force SJA I interviewed with...

I wish they would just reject me already so I could stop watching my phone like a hawk

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
