Just received a TO for the BVA attorney advisor. (Applied for the March-April 2020 positing). How long did it take to get a final offer? I have submitted OF306 and Fingerprints, and I am waiting on EQIP credentials.

So From tentative offer to firm offer was 12 business days for me. I've been really impressed with how quickly HR has moved during this process! Congrats on the job!

That seems really short. Everything else I read seems to indicate longer. I have not received the EQIP log-in yet (which worries me), but they said that could take a week.

My EQUIP is due the 27th, but I have not received the log-in credentials. When did they send you yours?

Did anyone who was offered an attorney advisor position have to undergo a personal interview along with the sf85p submission? How long after submitting the eqip did it take to get a final offer?

For anyone who just started working and doing remote work (because of COVID 19), how is your work-from-home setup? Do you have double monitors? Is the training all pre-recorded, or is it a virtual session?

I was due to start in June, it's been pushed back until August. I haven't heard anything from HR recently. When June pushed back I was on the verge of receiving my government computer. Hopefully things begin on time this round.

Yes - I begin on Monday. They'll be sending out laptops and other government issued items. Seems like 3 months of training, 3 more months of supervised work and then you're on your own. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

MKT, how is the work-from-home set up like? Do you have dual monitors? If so, did the gov't send the additional monitor to you? (I'm just wondering if I need to go out and purchase one for myself.) First couple of days you're on your own computer or phone. Laptop is then mailed. Once you're all setup you can request an external large monitor for delivery. Training is done through your mentors/trainers. I guess they have us for 3 months. Lectures are recorded in case anyone needs to miss them (we have people across 4 time zones). Depending on this Virus, we may never have to go into the office.

Hi, you will get a laptop and you can request an extra monitor too. The training is live online.
