My second round (really first they skipped screener with me) has a hypo and instructions.Anonymous User wrote:anyone apply for NJ PD office? For those who have, any idea what to expect for a second interview? The info I found didn't seem to be right, as it discussed a hypo to be prepared in advance, but I wasn't given any materials for a hypo.

Anyone?Anonymous User wrote:For LAS application if you have a disability but don't need an accommodation (hearing or visual) would you mark it down as a disability? I'm an accommodated law school student. I've had surgeries and a condition but I make my own accommodations when needed.

I applied last winter (maybe January?) and got my first interview in March or April of my 3L year. My understanding is that they don't ultimately extend offers until after graduation.Anonymous User wrote:Any news or interviews from CPCS?
Also, CPCS doesn't ask for transcripts.

Any idea to whom you're meant to address your letter of interest for CPCS? The website gives no indication.Anonymous User wrote:Any news or interviews from CPCS?

Re: 3L Public Defender Applications
I had a screener interview on campus. I actually didn't feel good about the interview, found the interviewer to be off=putting and disinterested, and was expecting the rejection. Good luck to everyone else there, though!Anonymous User wrote:when did you apply? sorry to hear thatAnonymous User wrote:snail mail rejection from brooklyn

On their website now it just links to an online employment application. Did anyone apply this way?Anonymous User wrote:Anon who applied here. I applied via the online employment application per my career office's advice (I asked whether I should just email Krista Lohr or use the website and they said use the website).Anonymous User wrote:On their website now it just links to an online employment application. So still address cover letters to Krista Lohr or just address them to director Anthony Benedetti?

Received a BDS second-round interview last week. The call came 2-3 weeks after my screener interview. They're setting these second-round interviews for December and January.

Re: 3L Public Defender Applications
Has anyone heard back from EJW interviewers, presumably for second-round interviews? Someone posted earlier that they got a snail mail rejection from NH PD, but I don't remember seeing news about any other employers.
