What's the FDA's status with all this?

Re: Honors Attorney Program 2021-2022 (non-DOJ)
If it's helpful, I had two CFPB interviews, as did a friend of mine (different offices). It could be a coincidence, but we both did well in school, are both clerking, and both have fed govt work experience in fields adjacent-ish to consumer protection (maybe the biggest factor). My interviewers seemed really interested in the work experience. There was surely some luck involved, too.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:12 pmThis isn’t an answer to your question, but I was also surprised to not get a CFPB interview. I guess they either got a lot of interest from elite applicants or they exerted a strong preference for past interns. Either way, you’re not alone!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 2:26 pmDamn. Would some people who got interviews (and/or offers) mind sharing their stats? Did you have relevant internship experience? I really thought I was competitive and didn't even get a first round interview.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 9:18 pmMost CFPB offices have completed hiring.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 6:54 amDid you interview with CFPB? If not, then, like myself, you didn't make the cut. I don't think SEC started interviewing yet but could be wrong because FINRA sent invitations to interview by email last weekAnonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 11:37 pmHas anyone heard anything from the SEC or CFPB? I know the SEC is still accepting applications so they might not have started extending interviews yet, but CFPB was due a long time ago. USAjobs still says "Referred".. But then again FDIC says something similar and I was notified I was out of the running there over a month ago.
Haven't heard back from SEC on the Honors program.

Was that a regional office for DOL?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 1:37 amHuge relief - my contact (regional office) indicated that they've only just started to work out how many people they'll be hiring but it seems like we should get some movement soon.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 9:16 pmThank you for biting the bullet!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 6:08 pmI'm currently trying to work a casual inquiry through a contact to a regional office to find out what TF is going on - will update here if I find anything out. FWIW, I applied to NLRB and DOL for the second posting in late Nov. - have had interview and "still interested" email for DOL national, literally zero movement on NLRB.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 5:45 pmOK who's gonna be brave enough to ask the NLRB about timeline?
I’m in the same boat as you with both DOL and NLRB.
So at least we know they're still working on it and we haven't all just gotten secretly rejected!

The FDA doesn’t have an honors attorney program. They have a general attorney program, but you have to be barred prior to applying.

No - regional office for NLRB. Haven't heard anything further from DOL since a "still interested?" email re the national office in mid January.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 12:26 pmWas that a regional office for DOL?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 1:37 amHuge relief - my contact (regional office) indicated that they've only just started to work out how many people they'll be hiring but it seems like we should get some movement soon.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 9:16 pmThank you for biting the bullet!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 6:08 pmI'm currently trying to work a casual inquiry through a contact to a regional office to find out what TF is going on - will update here if I find anything out. Was emailed today about an interview for an NLRB Honors position. Sending good vibes to whoever gets this email next because I already accepted a position with another HP.

I applied to a regional office and haven’t heard anything yet. I’m hoping the individual regional offices may have different timelines.

For the NLRB interviews, anyone have an idea how many interviews there will be in total?

I still have not heard anything about a possible interview from the NLRB regional office I applied to. Given some people have heard a response, at this point, is no news bad news? Thanks for anyones input!

I imagine all the regions haven’t started contacting applicants about interviews — there still may be hope!
I interviewed with Region 14 a couple days ago but haven’t heard from 15 or 18.

I got a call from a regional office late yesterday afternoon— I don’t have any insight into the process but it seems like there are offices still contacting people for interviews!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Feb 25, 2022 10:01 pmI still have not heard anything about a possible interview from the NLRB regional office I applied to. Take this with a grain of salt but I don’t think it’s necessarily over for you yet. I received interviews for two of the three regional offices I applied for. The one I have not heard from is in the city I’m currently clerking in. I could be totally off base but I feel like they may not have reached out about interviews yet based on my interview offer success in two regions I have zero geographic ties to.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Feb 25, 2022 10:01 pmI still have not heard anything about a possible interview from the NLRB regional office I applied to. Got a NLRB Board-side interview request on Friday. Looks like all Board-side interviews will happen March 7-18. Good luck to all!

Has anyone heard anything further from the DOL? Have any offers gone out? I've had radio silence since getting a "still interested" email in January and would like to know when to give up
