Yes, I was very nervous, but my supervisor was actually very happy for me. I am also at a one year position though, so my situation is a little different.

Yeah - I just don't like the idea of going all-in when who knows? They could hear something they don't like and rescind the "soft offer" and then I could be really SOL

It sounded like unless one of your references says "Oh I really hated him, he was a horrible employee and I'm glad he left," or you lied about where you currently work, everything should be all set for the formal offer.

I would have to assume that all the offers were made today (I did not receive a call), so anyone who didn't hear is out.

Looks like I'll have to wait for the next class.

1. Did everyone get offers yesterday (Sept. 24)?
2. Did those of you who interviewed previously get offers?
3. Any interview tips for the next round?

To answer Question 2: I made it to the last round in January AND was interviewed again this time I did NOT receive an offer. Interview tips would be great. I always interview well, except for the TM office it seems.

Hello,

Just applied to the October 2015 listing.

Can any earlier applicants share what the narrative questions are that the PTO emails some applicants?

How about questions asked during the in-person interview?

Thanks very much.

I'd love to know what questions are asked during the interview as well. I've been people mention that the interview questions were behavioral, however I'd like to know some of the specific questions if possible.

Has anyone who applied to the October vacancy announcement had any communication with the agency since then? I've applied and heard nothing.

The latest vacancy announcement closed in October. Another isn't likely to post this year, so perhaps sometime in the new year.

"Referred but not selected." Hilariously, I was selected and interviewed for the position in September. Perhaps they don't like repeats.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
