I'd be interested to know whether there has been any movement on LAS and/or BxD as well.

I had a panel interview for LAS last month and was told I'd hear back sometime in October (which is obviously almost over). I'm also curious if anyone has heard anything, especially about making it to the third round.

For PDS by second rounds do you mean panel interviews? I know some people who had screening interviews back in August who had their panels last week but I had my screening one on the 14th and thought I did pretty ok but haven't heard a peep.

Okay, good to know. I'm in a similar position -- had my interview the 12th, haven't heard anything despite the attorney telling me we'd likely hear this past week. Applied to BxD and LAS at the beginning of Oct, no word.

Member of LAS's CDP class that just started a month ago. Word on the street is that although they are doing the full hiring process, LAS may in fact not be hiring any entry level attorneys this year. Misdemeanor arrests in NYC are way, way, way down. Greater need is for felony attorneys and they may just hire a lateral class instead. Just wanted to pass this info along.

The deadline for this just passed not too long ago. I'm also waiting. I believe they are still reviewing qualifications. Such a great office! =D

Had a screening interview for PDS on the 12th but still haven't heard back. I know they are conducting second round interviews for some people and that other people have been dinged. I'm starting to think they just forgot to include my e-mail on the ding list!

A source told me Bronx starts around $60k, but the source is an attorney who started working there a while ago and was guessing.
